Lac La Biche Transport Ltd. has been providing freight services to North Eastern Alberta since 1953.

Our goal is to provide our customers with high quality, competitively priced freight services.

We provide truckload (FTL) and less than truckload (LTL) service to and from most points across North Eastern Alberta, including Lac La Biche, Plamondon, Conklin, Christina Lake, Anzac, and Cheecham, using our own fleet and a network of associated carriers to points beyond our daily transportation areas.

Our History

Steve Wowk started trucking in 1953. At that time he hauled freight and livestock to and from Edmonton for his customers in Lac La Biche. In 1963 he began oilfiled hauling with Tri-City Drilling. Today we not only continue to run a daily freight service for our customers in Lac La Biche and area, we have successfully completed thousands of shallow gas and SagD drilling rig moves with an excellent safety record.
